Dr Albert Zandvoort
 
Founder

Albert has a deep personal interest in the adictions field and the concept of Therapeutic Communities as a way of helping recovering addicts and especially health professionals. Albert holds qualifications in Psychotherapy, Psychology, Education and Literature.

Dr Ilze Zandvoort
 
Head of Operations

Ilze is an experienced health practitioner ( Chiropractic) with qualifications in Holistic Health. After having managed her own clinic for many years, she completed a Master of Business Administration Degree at the Ashridge Business School and now oversees Operations and Business Development at the Aesculap Community.

Steve Watson BSc (Hons)
 
Treasurer
 

Steve joined the Ashridge Business School in 1999 and is Programme Director for the Finance for Managers programme. He is a Client Director for a range of customised programme clients. He is a qualified management accountant and teaches and consults in the areas of finance, value creation, general management and strategy. Steve is a Visiting Professor at Mount Eliza Business School in Melbourne, Australia.

Steve oversees the finances of the Aesculap Community

Dr Michelle Zandvoort (CPsychol)
 
Clinical Director

Michelle is a Chartered Psychologist and has practical and research experience in the field of addictions. She holds a BSc (Honours) in Psychology, an MSc in Counselling Psychology, and a PsychD in Psychotherapeutic and Counselling Psychology. As Clinical Director, Michelle is responsible for all the treatment modalities at the Aesculap Community.

 Allison Trimble MA
 
 Board Member

Allison is a Social Entrepreneur who was instrumental in the development of the Bromley-by-Bow Community Centre in East London. She is currently a consultant for the Kings Fund and many other organisations supporting social entrepreneurship.

Tarun Pamneja BSc, MSc (Health Promotion), PG DIP Counselling Psychology
 
Board Member

Tarun is an experienced Psychotherapist with in-depth experience of working with addicted individuals. He also brings a wealth of insight to our Community as a developer of Mental Health Policy.

Fiona McKinney BSc (Hons)

 

Board Member

 

Fiona has extensive training in the addictions field, including  a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychology from the Roehampton Institute, an Advanced Diploma in Addiction Counselling from Clouds, Advanced Practitioner Skills Diploma from the NCED, in Eating Disorders and a training with CENAPS in Relapse Prevention Counselling. Fiona is currently completing her DPsych in Integrative Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute.

Bert van der Meer

 

Special Advisor

 

Bert has extensive experience in the hotel and catering industry. He has managed several hotels and has had his own catering company which provided corporate and institutional catering. He is a diet and nutritional advisor for various companies.

David Sunter

 

Special Advisor

 

David, formerly of Birdsgrove House and now an Addiction and Lifestyle therapist in private practise, has joined our advisory team. David has spent most of the last 10 years working specifically with impaired Health Professionals and their families.David is part of 'The Renaissance Group' at 96 Harley Street.
